I really like this Kit Rae sword. BUT, as much as I like it, it really looks awkward to wield. I think the blade would look better on the end of a staff, like out of Dragon Age 2.

pretty nicely done, will you be rendering your own designs in 3D too? I'm looking forward to seeing them because you have real talent for 3D work :D

Wow, this is awesome. Can you share it as an obj, or in any other format poser understands?

Very nice design. I like the details on the hilt and the blade. Good work.

Many thanks for taking the time to look and comment Seto! If you don't mind my asking - are you modeling all your characters from scratch? They are amazing!

I don't mind you asking. I am a beginner in modeling, so I am using DAZ models and change their shape usally in ZBrush or with magnets. I am more advanced in texture making. So, what I do is nothing compared to your work.

Thanks! I really like working in 3D and one day soon I think I'm going to start blending my 2D stuff with 3D stuff. I pretty excited about a few ideas I have right now - hopefully they turn out well! What about you? Do you have a favorite medium? :Zest:

Hmm. I always inclined to classic mediums... Mixed with I'm partially colorblind I love pure pencil the most. Well, actually people here made me to do a few color things, so I learned to use PShop a bit for coloring (I still suck though [link]). I always adored 3D modelling and those things, but I have no time to learn it due to massive complexity of those programs...=( (I'm quite lazy, too...)

Sorry this starts to be quite long... I, for myself prefer only pencil or pen ([link]). sometimes when I steal some time I grab acryllic ([link]) So like I said, traditional mediums.

But I have no borders in adoring every single deviant here, each with own original style, traditional or digital.

Well, I think that you are being modest, because that image that you colored in PS was REALLY good! Certainly nothing to be modest about - but I suppose that is better than arrogant! You said that you are color blind? Do you mean all colors or just certain colors (Like red/green color blind people)?
I LOVE traditional pencil also - I also like colored pencil - but colored pencil drawings take a LONG time and are very tedious - so I really have to be in the mood to do one of those.
Did you ever get my request to build your "Me as a Weapon" drawing in 3D? I really love the concept for that double sided blade!
Anyway, thanks for talking to me! It is good to get to know you!

You're too kind :blushes:

Well, yes, I am not able to see the "red" end of the spectrum... (All those collors I see as different hues of brown, or something like that...) I see Blue, green, yellow and so quite correctly....

And I replied to your request - I'd love to let you... I will be really interesting - and after I saw THIS your sword, I'm sure it will be SOMETHING...=D

And yes, you will se I quite love talking, so don't be affraid...8-)

3DSM = 3D Studio Max - I think it is best program for 3D modeling - but I know a lot of people really like Maya.

Pros - It is a VERY powerful program for created 3D graphics and animation.
Cons - It is a MASSIVE program and learning it will take a long, long, long time.

Seriously, thanks for the kind words! I think I might be doing another weapon sometime relatively soon.
